Field and his wife Candice; and Jeffrey A. Field; two brothers Emmet R. Millett, Jr. and his wife Laurel (Sykes); and John F. Millett; one sister Martha A. (Millett) Vaughn and her husband Dave; two grandchildren Erich and Riley Brassard; four step-grandchildren: Emily, Sarah and Alyssa Brittain and Braelyn Field; her mother-in-law Ethel M. (Letourneau) Field ; her sister-in-law, Gail E. (Field) Dolan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary Jo was the daughter-in-law of the late Frederick J. Field and sister-in-law of the late Arthur F. Dolan.
Mary Jo (Millett) Field, 56, a resident of Tewksbury for over 45 years, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at home.
Born in Tewksbury on February 12, 1954, she was the daughter of Emmet R. Millett and the late Mary I. (Kennedy) Millett.
Mary Jo attended the former Saint Williams School in Tewksbury and graduated from the former Keith Hall Academy of Lowell in 1972. Following graduation, she attended Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, where she received her degree in respiratory therapy.
Mary Jo was employed as a respiratory therapist by Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, where she worked for over 15 years.
She resided in Tewksbury for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Williams Parish.
Mary Jo loved to travel, especially to France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Florida. She also loved vacationing at York Beach in Maine, crocheting, cooking and attending family gatherings.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
