Knights of Columbus hosts benefit for local heroes.

A highlight of the evening was a wall, adorned with sketches of 139 servicemen and servicewomen, who have died since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The sketches were done by Gina Johnson, a talented artist from Woburn.

The Knights of Columbus in Tewksbury played host Saturday night to a fundraiser for Local Heroes, an organization that sends care packages to local soliders serving overseas.

More than 100 people were on hand for the party, which included a silent auction, raffles, great food and fabulous music from The Full Turn Band.

But for many people, the highlight of the evening was a wall, adorned with sketches of 139 servicemen and servicewomen, who have died since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The sketches were done by Gina Johnson, a talented artist from Woburn.
