A Week of Politics, Burglaries and Strange Games

Town officials will answer residents' concerns face to face.

 

Politics, both local and regional, dominated the news this past week, as well as a bizarre ending to a high school soccr game.

Town Manager Richard Montuori announced the dates of a series of neighborhood meetings. These meetings will give residents a chance to voice concerns and questions abour town government and town busines. But it is expected that the evening will be dominated by discussion of water and sewer bills.

Police investigated a weird vehicle fire and a Tewksbury School Department building was broken into.

State Rep. Jim Miceli and challenger Mario Marchese finally agreed to debate. It will take place at Wunn Middle School.

The race for the 5th Congressional seat between Niki Tsingas and Jon Golnik started to heat up.

The Tewksbury girls soccer team's game against Methuen ended with a coach getting ejected.
