Accidents And Drug Arrests Highlight Police Log

Three people narrowly escaped injury early Saturday morning when the car they were riding in burst into flames along Route 495.
State Police reported the incident, which took place around 4:45 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway, just past Exit 39.
According to the report, the car was fully involved by the time officers arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported. The three people who escaped the car were given courtesy transportation to I-HOP.
Alert officers prevent possible break-in (Oct. 14)
Friday morning, just before noon, two Tewksbury Police officers stopped a man they deemed to be acting suspiciously along Main Street. A computer check on Matthew Wright, 29, 241 Grove St., Lexington, indicated that he had an outstanding warrant. In addition, a search of the suspect found burglary tools in his possession. He was charged on the warrant and for being in possession of burglarious tools, according to police.
Accident sends two to the hospital (Oct. 13)
The intersection at East and Livingston may be repaved and widened, but the planned lights have not yet been installed, leaving it as a potentially dangerous place to drive.
On Thursday, around 5:40 p.m., multiple 911 calls reported a three-car accident at the intersection. Two ambulances were called to the scene and two people were taken to Saints Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Michael J. Ramsdell, 23, 108 Pike St., Apt. 7, Tewksbury, was arrested on Oct. 14 on a warrant.
Mark W. Stevens, 23, 53 Chatham St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested on Oct. 13 on a warrant.
Stephen Frost, 23, 700 Robbins Ave. Apt. 17, Dracut, was arrested on Oct. 13 on a warrant.
Joshua M. Fournier de Jesus, 23, 19 Mulberry St., Apt. A, Nashua, NH, was arrested on Oct. 12 and charged with OUI-Drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a number plate violation.
Kyle Ravida, 17, 34 Richardson St., Apt. 3, Wakefield, was arrested on Oct. 12 and was charged with possession of a Class D substance and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
