Atamians Celebrate 50 Years With Volkswagon
Robert and Reed Atamian began relationship with German car manufacturer in 1961.

Robert and Reed Atamian are celebrating 50 years in business with Volkswagen. The Atamian Family first formed a relationship with Volkswagen in 1961 and have been recognized for their outstanding service and 50 years of association with the brand. The Atamian family’s longstanding relationship with Volkswagen demonstrates their commitment to excellence in the automobile business.
Reed Atamian, President and Owner of Atamian Volkswagen Honda Inc., joins his father, Bob Atamian, in celebrating 50 successful years of collaboration with Volkswagen. “We are very pleased to achieve this milestone with Volkswagen,” said Reed Atamian, President and Owner of Atamian Volkswagen Honda Inc. “ The Volkswagen brand is outstanding and we are happy to be able to provide our clients with the dependability Volkswagen offers.”
Bob Atamian opened the first drive-in movie theater in Massachusetts while learning the automotive business first hand working alongside his uncle, founder of Butler Chevrolet Nish Atamian. Atamian Motors was born when Bob decided it was time to branch out on his own and he acquired the Worcester VW Franchise in 1961 from his Uncle Nish. From learning the rope from Uncle Nish, to running the Worcester VW dealership with his brother Seven years later, Bob Atamian decided to open his own VW Franchise in Tewksbury with his sons Reed and Robby Atamian. Reed replaced his father as President and Owner of Atamian Motors as well as expanded the company to sell thousands of cars per year. The dealership is now a fourth generation business as Reed’s nephew, Benjamin, has joined the family business.
