Big Week for High School, Town Hall Projects

Community Preservation Committee to make public presentation; general contracting bids to be opened for high school.

 

TEWKSBURY ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Wednesday, Sept. 29

Community Preservation Committee

7 p.m., Town Hall Auditorium

The Community Presentation Committee will be conducting a public presentation of the proposed $6.1 million Town Hall Renovation project.

School Committee

7 p.m. Wynn Middle School, Wynn Circle

The School Committee has not yet posted its agenda for the Sept. 29 meeting.

Thursday, Sept. 30

Zoning Board of Appeals

 6:30 P.M. Town Hall Auditorium

The ZBA has several hearings on its agenda for its meeting Thursday.

One hearing that was continued from an earlier hearing has to do with a request by John and Laurie Larsen for a variance to allow an existing 35.2' x 24.3' garage at 40 Sandlewood circle to remain.

New hearings include an appeal filed by George and Athina Keramaris regarding a Building Code Violation issued against their property at 1899 Main St.

Robert and Janet Nickerson are asking for a variance and a special permit for an addition they are putting on a property at 44 Clyde Ave.

High School Building Committee

6 p.m. School Administration Building, Pleasant Street

This is a huge meeting in the progress of the $82 million high school building project. The results of the general contractor bids will be announced. This will go along way toward determining if the project remains on budget.
