D.A. Identifies Man In Fatal Accident
The man who was killed in a car accident Monday morning is a 41-year-old Medford man.
The District Attorney's office has identified the man killed in an accident on Main Street Monday morning as Stephen Allder, 41, of Medford.
Jessica Pastore, Spokesperson for District Attorney Gerry Leone's office, confirmed the identity of the man killed.
The State Police Accident Reconstruction Team is working on finding a cause of the accident which involved a pickup truck driving south and a silver sports coupe driving north.
The name and condition of the injured man has not been released.
The collision took place around 7:30 a.m. Monday on a curve in the road near 1619 Main St., just past Mahoney's Garden Center.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the trauma unit at Leahy Clinic in Burlington. The other driver was taken to Saints Medical Center in Lowell where he was pronounced dead.

So sad about this accident...i cant imagine the traffic moving fast enough at that hour in the morning to justify the damage. A sad story for all involved.

We've been told by the DA's office that it could be several weeks because a cause of the accident is determined.
