Domestic Assault Arrest; Lottery Ticket Theft
The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A New Hampshire man is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting an adult family member at a Mystic Avenue residence.
Michael T. Granese, 60, 23 Emerson Drive, Fremont, NH, was arrested at the residence Friday (Nov. 18) morning and charged with assault and battery.
Tewksbury Police had received a call from a woman who said she had just left the residence and that a man she identified as Granese had pushed her and grabbed her neck. Police encouraged the woman to come into Police Headquarters, which she did. After interviewing the woman, officers were sent to Mystic Avenue to arrest Granese.
Other Arrests:
Robert Dalton, 450 Main St., Tewksbury, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 18, on an outstanding warrant.
Other incidents:
A clerk from the _Shell Gas Station, 1975 Main St._, called police on Friday, around 2:15 p.m. to report the theft of Massachusetts Lottery tickets. According to the clerk, the man came into the store, reached around the counter, grabbed tickets and ran out. According to the clerk, he escaped in a vehicle with New Hampshire registration.
On Friday, around 2 p.m., police received a call reporting a break-in at Tewksbury Auto Repair, 850 Livingston St. The incident is being investigated.
