Domestic Assault Arrests Top Latest Tewksbury Police Log

Tewksbury Police responded to multiple reports of assaults and domestic assaults this week.
Gerard A Cardarelli, 41, 5109 Archstone Ave., Tewksbury, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 28, and charged with domestic assault and battery.
Cardarelli was arraigned in Lowell District Court and held on $1,000 cash bail, according to an article appearing in the Lowell Sun.
According to prosecutors, the complaint was filed by a 12-year-old girl who lives with Cardaelli and his girlfriend. The girl told police that Cardarelli and his girlfriend both hit her with coathangers and that Cardarelli slammed her head against a wall, according to the Sun article. Cardarelli is due back in court on Dec. 20 for a pre-trial conference.
Alicia T. Jensen, 49, 5109 Archstone Ave., Tewksbury, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 29 and charged with domestic assault and battery. While Jenson lives at the same address, it was not specified if the arrest of Jensen was directly related to the charges against Cadarelli.
On Friday, Nov. 30, police received a 911 call from a woman who said she heard neighbors on Foster Road arguing outside. The caller said she heard a woman say out loud that she had been assaulted.
Officers responded to the scene and arrested Holly L. Valente, 18, 23 Kenmar Drive, Apt. 27, Billerica and charged her with assault and battery.
Jason Walkley, 25, 12 Ridgeway Ave., Billerica, was arrested on Nov. 30 and charged with OUI-drugs.
Joshua Sanchez, 23, 99 Orleans Ave., Lowell, was arrested on Nov. 29 and charged with distributing a Class B substance, conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Kelly Guthrie, 32, 172 Haverhill St. Apt. 214, Andover, was arrested on Nov. 28 and charged with larceny over $250 and conspiracy.
Tina Paradis, 37, 47 Lowell St., Methuen, was arrested on Nov. 28 and charged with larceny over $250.
Maureen Mortell, 49, 317 Boston Road, Billerica, was arrested on Nov. 30 and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
On Nov. 30 at 5:12 a.m., an Edgar Avenue woman called police to report an incident with a newspaper delivery vehicle. She said she'd had a problem with the vehicle driver the day before and that when she came out this morning to confront the driver, the vehicle veered at her. An officer went to the scene and talked to all parties involved and filed a report.
On Thursday, Nov. 29, a Yellow Cab driver reported a problem with a far. The driver sent he dropped off a female on South Street and she said she had to go inside to get some money to pay the far. Instead, she came out and said she could only pay with a cigarette. An officer responded to the scene and spoke to the parties involved. The female's father paid the fare.
