Ronald, do you mean slow, that very few are showing up at the polls? If that is the case, where are the signs on Route 38 telling residents that there is an election today? (South Tewksbury)

Why were the polling locations for precints 3 and 3A moved almost into Lowell? That is the furthest location from my residence and that is where I am now assigned. I have heard from individuals who are not voting because it is so inconvenient. Granted that is no reason not to vote, but this is an example of poor decision-making on the part of the town clerk.

I was over in North Tewksbury at the Assembly of God Church this morning. People that I saw, that were voting, seemed very happy. Plenty of parking, easy access to the door. I saw two women walking from their homes to vote. It really didn't look inconvenient to me.

Poor decision by the clerk. Give me a break. Who cares. The people on that corner of town have had to drive to the center forever. I live a mile from the senior center and have no problem going over to 133 to vote.

If people don't know there is an election today that is their own fault.

I do not think that I would want someone walking on Rte 133. By the way 2001, I drove over 8 miles to vote. Nice with the price of gas on a fixed income, and the fact that I am a mile away from 3 other polling places, how about you give me a break.

Rt 133 has sidewalks for the entire length. People walk, run and bike without any problems.

What do you propose as a solution? No matter what is done, some people will need to drive a few miles to vote?
