UPDATED: Fans Share Photos Of Star Encounters At 'Grownups 2' Shoot
Rainy weather doesn't deter residents looking for a brush with Hollywood.
A little rain (or even a lot) wasn't going to deter Merrimack Valley residents, hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the stars of "Grownups 2", as the film crew shot scenes at the this week.
Filming began on Monday and is expected to conclude Wednesday (May 23) before the crew shifts production to Swampscott and Marblehead.
Some fans just caught a fleeting glimpse of stars such as Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Kevin James, as they entered and existed the store through the garden section. Others were fortunate enough to grab the attention of the actors long enough to grab a quick photo.

For KMart, the opportunity to serve as a location for a Hollywood movie shoot has ben a nice little boon. Store manager Paul Boisvert said business has definitely picked up this week.
"It's been great. We had substantially more purchases (on Monday) than normal," said Boisvert. "Even people who are coming just to watch the filming have been stopping to shop."
