Tewksbury Business Association holds monthly luncheon at Luna Rossa
Where do business professionals go for networking and socializing in Tewksbury? The Tewksbury Business Association or TBA.
The TBA provides a unique networking opportunity for business professionals to gather together without the pressure of required attendance or expensive annual dues. Members are provided with networking options that can fit into their work schedules, whether they attend a monthly luncheon, evening mixer or both.
The October luncheon was held at Luna-Rossa Italian Restaurant in Tewksbury, with special guest speaker and member Howie Snyder from Local Search Ma, a comprehensive online marketing firm. The atmosphere was professional, casual and fun.
Bringing business to Tewksbury is a passion for Hanson Bechat, the TBA's President, and for Sarah Gurule, the TBA's Vice President. Hanson, who owns Neighborhood Parcel, a Tewksbury based business, together with Sarah, from Modern Auto Glass in Tewksbury, have grown the club together from 20 members to close to 100 in less than two years, and the numbers increase monthly.
The clubs flexibility and open membership (it's not only for Tewksbury businesses but is open to everyone) make it attractive for business professionals.
"The TBA has also been functioning like a Better Business Bureau for Tewksbury" says Hanson, referring to consumers who have called to ask him about TBA businesses that are listed on the website. "People call wanting to know if it is a reputable business or person."
The October Newtworking Mixer for the TBA will be held at Bayberry at Emerald Court in Tewksbury on Oct. 19.
You can expect a fun environment, as the mixer will have a Halloween theme, with prizes for the best costume and raffles. To learn more about this event and the TBA go to www.tewksburybusiness.com.
