'Grinch' Steals Decorations From Heath Brook
Giant figures taken from front lawn.
It seems like with every holiday season, there is a 'Grinch' lurking around to try and steal the joy that comes with it.
Principal Rosamond Dorrance confirmed that a thief or thieves stole two giant decorations from the front lawn of the Heath Brook School some time over the weekend.
One figure was a Ginger Bread Man and the other was a Nutckacker. They were located right next to the school sign, which is very near the road.
"We have been very lucky in the past. We have decorations all over the school," said Dorrance. "It's disappointing that they would target an elementary school."
Heath Brook serves children in Grades K-2.
According to Dorrance, each of the figures was around five-feet tall. She believes someone stopped at the school while driving by, grabbed them and took off again.
Anyone with knowledge of the theft, or the location of the decorations, is asked to call the Tewksbury Police Department at 978-640-4381.
