Habitual Drunk Driver Indicted By Grand Jury For 6th Offense

Worcester man was arrested in Tewksbury in June.

A habitual drunk driver will be facing felony charges in Lowell Superior after being indicted by a Middlesex County grand jury for his 6th OUI offense.

Steven Letellier, 38, of Worcester, was arrested by State Police on I-93 in Tewksbury. At the time, he was held without bail after a district court judge deemed him to be a danger to society.

In addition to OUI-Liquor (3rd of subsequent offense), Lettelier is charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (3rd or subsequent offense) and operating a motor vehicle after his license had been suspended for drunk driving, according to a press release from the office of District Attorney Gerry Leone.

Lettelier's earliest OUI-liquor conviction came in 1995.
