Young students at the Center School were in awe when mounted troopers from the State Police visited last week with two of their horses.
Trooper Dave and Trooper Mike taught the children about the horses and gave the youngsters a chance to pet the gentle animals.

What a fun time for the kids to see the State Police with such a friendly & happy atmosphere with such beautiful horses. I bet the kids really enjoyed the day. Thanks to whoever put this all together. It is nice that children can see "police" doing fun things some of the time. That it's not all bad, as seen on TV.
