In Portuguese it is "Bacalhau." My Grandmother used to make it in a tomato based stew. :)

Can't wait for our 7 fishes Christmas Eve. Italians really do know how to eat.. i look forward to this every year...Lobster, Scollops, Shrimp, Octopus, Calamari, Baccala, Smelts...
