Macy Earns Third Northeast 10 Player of the Week Honor

- UMass Lowell field hockey star Sammy Macy (Tewksbury, MA) earned her third Northeast 10 player of the week honor as she helped guide the Riverhawks to a record 17th straight win. The senior had seven points (3g, 1a) in two victories last week.
- UMass Lowell outside hitter Vicky Wong (Tewksbury, MA) had three digs as the Riverhawks defeated Pace 3-0 Saturday in Lowell.
- Tewksbury resident and Proctor Academy (NH) graduate Nicole Fernandez (Tewksbury, MA) had two goals and one assist (five points) in Providence College's 4-1 season ending victory over Georgetown.
- Worcester State senior Karla Rotondi (Tewksbury, MA) ended her college field hockey career with a 1-0 victory over Eastern Connecticut. The senior managed to get one shot on net in the finale.
- Tewksbury resident and St. John's Prep graduate Scott Darby (Tewksbury, MA) tossed a touchdown pass for the Hoyas in Georgetown's 24-19 loss to Fordham Saturday.
