• The accolades continue to roll in for UMass Lowell senior field hockey player Sammy Macy . After winning the National Championship this past weekend she was recently named a first team Divison 2 All American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
• University of Connecticut senior women's ice hockey player Brittany Murphy  scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Union College Wednesday night.
• University of Massachusetts senior Brian Tino was recently named a captain of the school's indoor track team for the 2010-2011 season. 
• Worcester State ice hockey player John Cahalane scored all four goals in a recent 4-1 victory over Westfield State Tuesday night.
• Tewksbury resident and Central Catholic High School graduate Brittany Gorski is a member of the Holy Cross College Women's Track and Field team for the 2010-2011 season.
