Mailboxes, Street Signs Destroyed In Vandalism Spree

Police are looking for the person or people responsible for destroying several mailboxes and street signs in a Tewksbury neighborhood over the weekend.
According to a Tewksbury Police report, a resident of Mitchell G Drive discovered the damage when he left his home to work on Sunday just before 7 a.m. The man told police he saw numerous mailboxes along the street had been destroyed sometime overnight. He also reported that the street sign for Starr Avenue and a stop sign had been completely ripped out of the ground.
An officer was sent to the scene and confirmed the report. In all, nine mailboxes were trashed in the vandalism spree.
"Thief" stole a tire and replaced it with a flat? (May 20)
On Sunday, a resident called police and reported that his car had been broken into overnight. He also reported that the "thief" had stolen a tire from off his car and replaced it with a flat tire.
An officer was sent to the man's home to investigate the incident. After a complete investigation it was determined that the car had not, in fact been burglarized. Instead, the man's son had borrowed the car without his father's knowledge while the man had been away on a scout trip.
No charges were filed.
Julio Cruz Chalas, 41, 94 Fox Marsh Road, Apt. 4, Dover, NH, was arrested on May 21 in the parking lot of CVS, 10 Main St. on a warrant. He was also charged with distribution of a Class B substance.
Mary Lopiano, 25, 205 Oakland Ave., Methuen, was arrested on May 20 a warrant.
Michael J. Ramsdell, 25, Concord St., Lowell, was arrested on May 20 on a warrant.
Clifford Elston, 43, 27 Oxford St., Apt. 1, Malden, was arrested on May 20 on a warrant.
Bianca L. Ortiz-Ortiz, 24, 40 Wamesit St., Lowell, was arrested on May 20 and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
Sospeter Chege, 28, 152 University Ave., Lowell, was arrested on May 20 and charged with OUI-liquor.
David T. Prum, 28, 25 Temple St., Apt. 10, Lowell, was arrested on May 19 and charged with domestic assault and battery.
On May 22, at 2:15 p.m., a motorist reported that kids were throwing rocks at cars near Pinewood Road and that one of the rocks had broken his window. An officer was sent to investigate and a report was filed.
On May 22, at 3:33 p.m., an officer reported a possible stolen car from Stadium Plaza. Four women were given a courtesy transport.
On May 22, at 4:44 a.m., a Livingston Street resident reported that at some time overnight, the windows on her daughter's boyfriend's car had been smashed.
On May 22 at 7:14 a.m., a Court Street resident called police to report that two cars in her driveway had been broken into overnight.
On May 20, at 1:19 p.m., a resident reported their car had been broken into at 10 Main St.
