A 49-year-old Burlington man was seriously injured, Thursday morning, when he fell from a roof, striking his head on the concrete pavement.
The man, whose name was not released by Fire Department officials, was doing work on the roof at 95 Evergreen Road just before noon, when he fell approximately eight feet, according to the Police report.
According to Fire Chief Hazel, the man sustained traumatic injuries to his head and legs. He was transported by ambulance to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, as LifeFlight was not flying at the time.
