Nathalie M. Polcari, 82

Married for 62 years.

 

Nathalie M. (Mori) Polcari, age 82, died Thursday, March 7, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Polcari Sr., with whom she had celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary this past June 11th.

She was born in Somerville, September 24, 1930, one of four daughters of the late Natale and Lena (Crocetti) Mori, and was raised in Somerville.  The Polcari’s had lived in Tewksbury since 1975, and attended St. Dorothy’s Church in Wilmington.  She and her husband had wintered in Lake Worth, Florida from 1980 until 2006. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph A. Polcari Jr, and his wife Linda (Matthews) Polcari of Pepperell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna J. Valladares and her husband Rodney of Lawrence, Lisa A. Emmons of Lawrence,  and her late husband, Scott F. Emmons, and Michael Coyle of Tewksbury, who was the husband of the late Marie T. (Polcari) Coyle; five grandchildren, Matteo Polcari, Eric and Gina Coyle, Joanne and Rodney Valladares Jr; two great grandchildren, Nina and Tyler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also sister of the late Nellie Cote, Celia Gallagher, and Virginia Gibbons.

Visiting hours Monday morning, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950,  followed by a Funeral Mass Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 114 So. Broadway, Lawrence.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Assn., 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451, will be appreciated.  tewksburyfuneralhome.com

My deepest condolences to Lisa. It has to be awful to lose a husband and mother in such a short period of time.
