New Day, Same Result for Redmen Girls Tennis
Tewksbury topples Wilmington, 4-1, for the second straight day.
It was a different day and a different venue for the Tewksbury girls tennis team. The result, however, was the same.
The Redmen snagged a second straight 4-1 victory over Wilmington on Friday after the teams played to the same result on Thursday.
April McDermott set the tone as she earned a 6-3, 6-4, win at No. 1 singles over Katie Richardson. Alyssa Mulno followed suit with a 6-2, 6-3, win over her own at second singles while Kylie Sedgwick was narrowly clipped by Kristen Tavares at No. 3.
Both doubles matches went to three sets, but Tewksbury won both to close out the match.
