Appeal Filing Dates Changed, But Hearing Remains as Scheduled
Several of the filing dates for appellants of the Wilmington High School project have been pushed back, but the tentative October hearing date remains the same unless a settlement is reached beforehand.
Kevin MacDonald, the spokesman for one of the appeals to the Department of Environmental Protection, said he recently had a lengthy conversation with Wilmington Town Counsel Dan Deutsch as a part of the required good faith settlement talks.

Joe Fish May Be Moving into Old Piccadilly Pub Location
There has been speculation that a Joe Fish restaurant will move into the old Piccadilly Pub location on Main Street in North Reading, and Jim's Restaurant Group, LLC, owned by Jim Dietz who owns and runs Joe Fish, pulled a demolition permit for the location this week.

RMHS Graduate Featured in Shape Magazine
Reading Memorial High School graduate Dina Metrano will be featured in the October issue of Shape Magazine in an article about how exercise helps depression. Metrano is a group exercise trainer and director at PUMPS Fitness in Wakefield, a women's facility fitness center. Working with women constantly allows her to see how they benefit from exercise.

Fisichelli's Pastry Shop is planning to open at 46 Main Street, the week of September 10, according to third generation owner Nina Fisichelli Gaffny.
The original bakery located at 55 Union Street, Lawrence, first opened its doors in 1915 by Gaffny's grandfather, Orazio Fisichelli, an Italian immigrant. The ownership passed from father to son Frank until Gaffny took over 21 years ago, she explained.

Planning Board Mulls Parking at Proposed Fast Food/Gas Station Complex
The Chelmsford Planning Board took another step toward a decision on the proposed 3,900 fast food/gas development at the corner of Oak Street and Littleon Road last week, agreeing to a site walk prior before they reconvene on Sept. 12.
Located near Gene’s Chinese Flatbread Café, the board took up various topics on the proposal ranging from lighting to coordination with the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
