With Don Ordway announcing he would not be seeking re-election, the committee found itself choosing a new chairman for the first time in more than two decades.

Ordway was elected vice chairman, Carolyn J. Donovan was re-elected treasurer and Doug Sears was elected secretary.

While it was very difficult for us to see Don Ordway voluntarily step aside from his long-time service as Chairman of the TRTC, I'm proud that we chose Bob Homeyer as our new Chairman and retained Don as Vice Chairman. Bob is a successful businessman in Tewksbury who believes in a responsible, limited government. We very much look forward to his new leadership and welcome everyone in Tewksbury regardless of their defined party affiliation. In the end, it's not about labels, it's about what you believe in.
