Patch Whiz Kid of the Week Jessica Kenney

High school student puts her computer skills to work for the good of her church.

 

Jessica Kenney, 17

Shawsheen Tech, Tewksbury Congregational Church

Jessica spearheaded the redesign of the TCC website and wrote the code for the church's internal, web-based newsletter.

Jessica is a computer savvy junior at Shawsheen Tech, who put her skills to good work for the betterment of her church. She redesigned the entire Tewksbury Congregational Church's website and wrote the code for an internal web-based newsletter.  She does this free of charge.

Know a great kid who made Eagle Scout or did your local soccer team take the championship? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kid honoree.

Each week, Tewksbury Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual  kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. Nice job Jessica!! It is great to see someone who does so well in school, particpates in community activities and school activities and is just a great kid be honored like this. Be proud of yourself Jessica!!

You go girl! I think it's great you're applying your education and skills outside of school to better the community and your fellowship! With this attitude, NOTHING is off limits!!! Keep studying, applying yourself, and believing in yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Jessica! Keep up the good work and your extremely giving manner. The world would be a better place if there were more Jessica's out there like you! Good luck in all of your future endeavors. You definitely will make it!
