UPDATED: Patrick Francis Teague, 41

Army veteran, member of the 1990 TMHS Super Bowl team.

 

Patrick F. Teague of Tewksbury Ma. died unexpectedly on Sunday February 3rd a the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

He was born in Lowell on December 25, 1971, and was the eldest son of Francis P. (Frank) Teague and Ruth A. (Pupkis) Teague.

Patrick was a lifelong resident of Tewksbury. Patrick was an enthusiastic participant of Tewksbury Youth Sports Programs. He played Basketball, Football, Soccer and Baseball. He was a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School. An avid sports fan and good athlete, Patrick was a also a member of Tewksbury High School’s 1990 Super Bowl Football Team.

Following High School, Patrick attended Northern Essex and Middlesex Community Colleges where he majored in Psychology. Upon completion of his studies, Patrick enlisted in the United States Army where he trained as a combat Engineer at Ft. Leonard Wood Mo. After his training, Patrick served for 4 years stationed in Korea and Ft. Hood Texas with the 4th Infantry Div. where he received an Honorable Discharge. During his service Patrick was awarded the Army Lapel Button, the Army Service Ribbon and the Army’s Overseas Service Ribbon.

Following his military service, Pat returned to Tewksbury where he continued to live and work for the benefit of veterans. Patrick’s love and abilities for sports never waned and he continued to be an active participant in men’s basketball, softball, hockey as well as participating in his children’s sports programs whether as an active participant or a spectator.

Patrick’s love of sports was only surpassed by his love of his family and friends.

Patrick leaves behind his father and mother, Francis P. Teague and Ruth A. (Pupkis) Teague of Tewksbury; a brother, Michael J. Teague of Westford; a sister, Shaelagh Teague and her daughter Teagan of Westford. He is also survived by four children, a daughter, Samantha Teague of Tewksbury; three sons, Michael J. Teague of Tewksbury, Shawn Cerolo of Peabody and Aiden Patrick Emanouil of Tyngsboro; his beloved friend and partner Melanie (Danner) Jones of Tewksbury and her two sons Kevin and Nathan Jones of Tewksbury; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST THE TEAGUE FAMILY HAS ELECTED TO POSTPONE PATRICK'S SERVICES.

NEW SCHEDULE AS FOLLOWS:

Calling hours are SUNDAY, Feb. 10, from 4-8 p.m., in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held MONDAY, Feb. 11, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Redmen Football Club, Attn: Brian Dick, 31 Bopete Lane, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
