Bill you invited us here!
Bill, remember 2010 and we will do it again. Your defense is not very good. If we chip Gronkowski and hit Welker hard off the line, Mr. Ngata, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Suggs and others will be having a face to face discussion with Mr. Brady in the Sack Room!

Bill as requested I'm ready for some good debate from some Pat fans. To the people that did not go to any of the Baltimore Patch sites this is what I stated. Baltimore will win 27 - 17 if the zebra's let the boys play the game. But if the yellow flags come flying when anyone gets within a foot of Brady then I will say Pats win by 10. Remeber guy/gals the Pats have not played a team like Baltimore all season. It will not be a cake walk like last weekend.

Freddy....with that said, the Ravens have not played a team like the Pats for half the season. The last team they played that closely resembled the Pats was the Chargers. How did that work out?

Sam, quoting stats is always suspect. Your record against the Steelers was 0-1, ours was 2-0 including beating them on the same field you lost to them. Go Ravens!

Do you even have any Patriot fans on this site Bill? Looks like Freddy and I from Baltimore own this site just like we will own the Patriots Stadium on Sunday! I've more responses from the residents at the nearby graveyard! Is your city in New York? Probably Jets fans, huh?

No Jets fans here but Rex Ryan predicts a Raven victory as well. Maybe you can go golfing with him,Ray Lewis and Joe Flacco while we win another superbowl. When was the last time you were at the big dance maybe 2000? I think we have won a few since then. Good luck to you and your hapless Ravens.Take comfort in knowing Rex "the foot" ryan and you both predict a win for the Ravens. Great minds think alike. I wonder what Bill B."s predicting?

They couldn’t run, they couldn’t protect the quarterback and they couldn’t move the ball for the better part of three quarters. When it was over, the Ravens, frankly, couldn’t care less.
For the second time in four years, the Ravens advanced to the AFC Championship Game with an ugly 20-13 divisional playoff win over the Texans on Sunday. Fueled by a pair of future Hall of Famers, Baltimore leaned on a suffocating defense that pitched a second-half shutout to set the stage for a showdown with the Patriots next Sunday with a Super Bowl berth at stake.
“There’s a right way to do things, there’s a wrong way to do things and then there’s the Ravens’ way to do things,” linebacker Terrell Suggs said. “It wasn’t pretty. But, hey, we’re not really a pretty team.”
The Ravens scored 17 points off Texans turnovers, including touchdowns off two Houston miscues in the first quarter, to advance to Foxborough. Joe Flacco & Co. were a disjointed mess for much of the game. Ray Rice, the league’s second-leading rusher, managed only 60 yards on 2.9 yards per carry. Flacco was sacked five times. The Ravens converted on third down just four of 16 times.
After jumping out to a 17-3 first-quarter lead, Baltimore sleepwalked the rest of the game, gaining just 156 total yards and seven first downs over the final three quarters. Baltimore went three-and-out eight times in 14 drives (excluding the final knee as time expired).
PATS WILL BEAT THEM 34-17 rest my case

Well. As a former Cleveland-area homegirl who now lives near Boston, I have two excellent reasons to loathe, despise, abhor, just plain HATE the team currently in Baltimore. But the best reason is that the Patriots have hit their stride in these recent weeks. It's gonna be a tough game (of course, we thought the Broncos would be, too!), but the Patriots will defeat the lowly carrion-eating Ravens, 28-24.

Alas, I have awaken a few of the sleeping Patriots :-) still mad at us for "stealing" your fog eating Browns? I ask you, did you have the same outrage when Indianapolis stole the Baltimore Colts? At least Modell and our city had the courtesy to leave you your name and all of your icons and trophies. Ours were all stolen. Johnny Unitas never was an Indianapolis Colt and never will be. It was the Baltimore Colts that made this league in the 1950s and it was stolen from us. You'll hate us even more after Sunday.

Kris say it aint so. My middle son loves Adrian Peterson of the Vikings but I would have to kick him out of the family for treason if he didn't root for the Pats hehehe!! Just kidding but I will have to give your little guy a ribbing when I see him it is funny. GO PATS!!

Bottom line is the Ravens defense can't outscore the Pats offense like they did in that ugly win against the Texans last week.If you can only muster up 20 points against Houston (17 of those off turnovers) what delusions of grandeur you must have to think a world class QB and highpowered offense like that of the Patriots would let you do the same to them?

That was said in 2010 too. Do you remember that one? 33-16 us, I believe. This might be Lewis' and Reed's last chance as Father Time is chasing them. They will leave nothing in the tank. They are on their way to the Sack Room to visit Brady and leave their mark.

Patriots will win if they don't turn the ball over. It'll be a close game throughout. 27-17, New England

“They present a ton of challenges in all three phases of the game,” ESPN.com quoted Brady as saying in the interview. “You watch them yesterday, they’re physical, they’re tough, they can cover. They’ve got some of the best players in the history of the NFL at their positions, in [Terrell] Suggs, Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata. You’ve got phenomenal players there. We’ve really got our work cut out for us.”
Brady knows it will be a close game and could go either way. If he is pressured he will cough up the ball and the Raven's will win. If the Raven's don't pressure him and keep Gronk in check they will lose. There's one easy way to check the big TE, keep the Pats out of the red zone. It all comes down to the Raven's D. Flacco should have another adequate performance and either way this will be a close game and should be fun to watch.

Pats in a cake walk. Baltimore no sacks last week. handed the ball 4 times on awful throws and still barely won. Brady will not be throwing thise passes and the defense is just starting to come around. Flaco is awful, if they contain Rice somewhat this will get ugly quick. They got destroyed by the Chargers and the old guys (Reed and Lewis) had no clue what was happening.

Paul, the Steelers have nothing to do with todays game. The Ravens have only faced a top ten offense twice this season. The Chargers destroyed them.

Debbie definitely had the best prediction. Way to Go!! And thank you to Freddy and Paul and any of the other Maryland residents who took me up on my invitation to come up and participate in the conversation. This game was a war!!!! The Ravens played an outstanding game! The Patriots are battered and bruised and will need all two weeks to recover in time for the Super Bowl!

Where's Freddy and Paul? Hows that owning of our stadium working out for ya? Hats off to the Ravens on a hard-fought game. They snatched defeat right out of the hands of victory. Brady struggled and your defense played well and we still pulled it out. Superbowl here we come!
