Police Make Arrest on Stalking Charges After Gym Incident

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Inside Planet Fitness, a 911 caller reported that she was just assaulted by another female in the parking lot on Thursday, March 14, at 9:57 p.m.. The caller stated that the suspect fled the parking lot in a gold car on Main Street.

On Friday, March 15, at 11:42 a.m. police arrested a woman at the station related to the previous night's incident.

Misty L. Blanchette, 20, of 432 Foster Road, Tewksbury, was arrested on a warrant for stalking, assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery.

Police Locate Allegedly Stolen Vehicle

Police stopped a vehicle at Mobil on the Run on Andover Street after it came up as stolen on Wednesday, March 13, at 8:29 p.m.

Scott M. Haded, 47, of 6 Sycamore Street, Chelmsford, was arrested on two outstanding warrants and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Additional Incidents:

On Wednesday, March 13, at 6:48 p.m. on Pinedale Ave., a resident called to report a suspicious vehicle parking in front of her residence. The caller stated that the vehicle was occupied by three individuals and they appeared to be doing drugs.  

On Thursday, March 14, at 7:29 p.m. after stopping a vehicle for speeding on Whipple Road, police arrested David F. Brooks, 46, of 752 Aiken Street Apt. 12, Lowell, on a warrant for failing to pay a suspended license fine and possession of Class E drugs. 

On Friday, March 15, at 5:58 p.m. officers served a warrant at Motel 6. Ronny J. Perrin, 50, of 724 Varnum Ave., Lowell, was charged with larceny over $250.

On Friday, March 15, at 8:27 a.m. an officer received a call from the high school reporting that they just had a student run away from the campus. The student was located and disciplined.

On Friday, March 15, at 2:37 p.m. a woman called to report that earlier in the day her son was on a school bus and said that when it stopped to drop off students, a young male about 18 years old jumped on the bus to yell at another male student on the bus.
