UPDATED: Police Searching For Missing Tewksbury Teen

14-year-old boy has not been heard from since calling his father after school yesterday.

have issued a as they search for a missing 14-year-old boy.

Anthony McNeil, an 8th grader at the Wynn School, has not been heard from since around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 7.

According to Tewksbury Police, Anthony's father dropped him off at the Wynn School in the morning. After school, Anthony called his father, Dennis McNeil, at work from his home phone and told him he planned to walk over to the Livingston Street ball fields to watch the games and that he could be picked up around 5:30 p.m.

Police say Anthony's father made several trips to the Livingston Street Fields between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. but Anthony was not there.

Anthony is described as being 5-2, 120 pounds and Hispanic. He has last seen wearing dark jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police have established a command center at the Tewksbury Parks and Recreation Complex on Livingston Street. Dozens of Tewksbury Police officers and deputies from the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office have gathered to continue the search.

At this time, Police are NOT acepting volunteers from the public to participate in the search for Anthony. If that changes, that information will be passed along.

Anyone with information on Anthony's whereabouts or who might have seen him after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday June 7 is asked to call the Tewksbury Police Department at 978-851-7373 Ext. 0 or by calling 911.
