UPDATED: Prostitution Arrests At Two Tewksbury Motels

Four women arrested in coordinated effort.

Four women were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court today (Nov. 9) on prostitution charges, after being arrested by Tewksbury Police at two local motels on Thursday.

The women, three of whom list their home addresses as out of state, were arrested as part of a coordinated operation by the Tewskbury Police Department. Three were arrested at the Motel 6 and one more at the Motel Caswell.

Daiane Gabriel, 25, of 31 Niagara St Apt 4 Newark, NJ was arrested at the Motel 6 and charged with sexual conduct for a fee along with being in possession of pepper spray without a permit.  Gabriel is also wanted out of Texas and is due to be deported according to Department of Immigration and Customs (ICE).

Shu Yaun Zhang, 46, of 14011 Ash Ave. Apt. 6, Flushing, NY, was arrested at the Motel 6 and charged with sexual conduct for a fee.

Natasha Gage, 22, of 178 Blake St., Apt. 2, Lewiston, ME was arrested at the Motel 6 and charged with sexual conduct for a fee.

Yudelka Hildago, 30, of 133 Woodland St., Apt. 1 Lawrence, was arrested at the Motel Caswell and charged with sexual conduct for a fee.

According to a Tewksbury Police spokesperson, complaints had been received regarding prostitution activities and police used decoy "Johns" in the operation.

The arrests came on the same day testimony ended in the Motel Caswell Federal Forfeiture trial. Federal prosecutors have argued that the motel has been a hotbed of criminal activity for many years and that owner Russ Caswell has not taken appropriate action to cub the activity.

Caswell's attorneys and supporters have made the point that the Motel 6 has actually had a higher incidence of crime in recent years and that Motel Caswell is being unfairly singled out.

You say two were at one and two were at the other and then when you go into detail you say three were at one and one at the other. Which is it?

It bothers me that as if the Caswell and Motel 6 weren't enough in this "average little town", but we had to go and allow - what - two other hotels after that? Our taxes are constantly going to pay our own Police Officers and EMT's to take care of everyone except the Residents who pay the taxes, and that just isn't acceptable.

I agree Bob, when the state need more money, all of a sudden prostitution won't be illegal any more, just like Maryjane!!It's only medical now, but give it time!!!

Mary Jane may be legal now in some cases yet don't let anyone in your house with it even tho it is only a misdemeanor in ma the feds will still confiscated your house/car/money under the drug/civil forfeiture act just like motel Caswell
