Tewksbury 66, Dracut 53

The Semenza sisters came up huge for the Tewksbury High girls basketball team, leading the Redmen over Dracut, 66-53.

Shannon Semenza led the way for Tewskbury with a game-high 17 points. Sarah Semenza and Chelsee Porcaro added 12 points each for the Redmen.

Boys Basketball

Tewksbury 56, Dracut 36

The Redmen earned a "must" win in their quest for a berth in the State Tournament, 56-36 over Dracut.

Tewksbury used a smothering defense to snap a six-game losing streak and improve to 5-8 on the season.

Junior Kevin Dick led the way for the Redmen with a game-high 17 points. Sophomore Alex DiRocco dropped in 15.
