The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The call came in at 10:33 a.m. from a residence on Chester Street.

Full emergency medical response was dispatched to the scene. The man was rushed by ambulance to Lahey Medical Center in Burlington. There was no immediate word on his condition or if the finger was able to be reattached.
