It is a small stone with a few geese and a humble inscription. It's on public land but not exactly in what anyone would call a park of any note. there is a never a crowd nearby.

But the monument carries great significance and it has caught the intention of many Tewksbury residents over the years.

More than two dozen readers knew that the stone in the Where Is It? mystery photo game this week is memorial monument dedicated to the Mahoney Family, who were murdered on New Year's Eve, 1975. It is located at the public entrance to Long Pond on Whipple Road at the end of Pleasant Street.

Congratulations to all those who guessed corerectly and a special congratulations to Cathy Driscoll, whose name was selected from among the correct guessers to win a Friendly's gift card.
