Spring Is Nearing and There Is Plenty to Do With the Kids

Arts and crafts, playtime and a little date.

 

Evening Story and Craft

Where/When: Tewksbury Public Library, Wednesday, March 9, 6:30 p.m.

Why go: It's fun to read a story or hear a story told. but it's even better when you get to do arts and crafts based on that story!

Pricing: This is free and is for children 3 - 6 years  old.

Drop-in Toddler Play at Turf Time

Where/When: Turf Time, 20 Carter St., Tewksbury; Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Why go: The program is designed for ages 0-5. The space includes tumbling mats, ball pits, jump houses, slides, tunnels, basketball hoops, push cars and ride-ons, blocks, crafts and a variety of toys.

Pricing: $5 per walking child (infants are free) or buy a discounted pass, 10 entries for $40.

Community Playroom

Where/When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Road, Chelmsford

Why go: The Community Playroom is inviting moms, dads, caretakers, and kids to join their playgroup. The Community Playroom is a drop-in/come when you can playgroup for children ages birth to five years old.

Pricing: Costs $1 per child, includes snack.

Kids Night Out

Where/When: Magic Brush Pottery, 361 Main St, Tewksbury; Every other Friday at 6 p.m. Next event is March 11.

Why go: Program involves projects, dinner or snack, and crafts. Drop off available for ages 6 & up.

Pricing: Pricing ranges from $20 & up and includes pottery, snack, firing, drop off for two hours, and packaging.

A Little Lunch Date at Chunky's

Where/When: March 16, 12 p.m.

Why go: Chunky's will be showing the Pixar classic "Cars," at their Pelham, Haverhill and Nashua locations, for guests with pre-school children. Kids love this film, especially on the big screen with a snack and a table to sit at.

Pricing: Admission is free. Food cost is additional
