Stacy Devincenzi, 42

Stacy (Kanakaris) Devincenzi, age 42, died Sunday, April 21, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her beloved family, following a courageous three year battle with cancer.

She was born in Medford, May 17, 1970, a beloved daughter of Glenda (Wilson) Kanakaris now residing in Virginia Beach, VA and Stanley Kanakaris and his wife Carol of  MA.  She was raised in Tewksbury, and was a member of Tewksbury Memorial High School Class of 1988.  She raised her family in Dracut, and returned to Tewksbury in 2011.

Stacy was described by her sister as a “…beautiful person who devoted her life to her family.”

Stacy leaves three children, Brittany Devincenzi and Nikolas Devincenzi both of Tewksbury, and Brett Devincenzi of Dracut; her beloved sisters, Donna Weidrick and her husband Wesley of N.C., and Carmen Cataldo and her husband Thomas of Virginia Beach, VA; three brothers, J.D. Davis Jr. and his wife Karen of Williamsburg, VA, Jimmy Davis and his wife Terry of Medford, MA, Stanley Kanakaris Jr. of N.J.; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces ; and was the former wife of  Michael Devincenzi of Dracut.

Visiting hours Tuesday morning  April 23, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950.  Her Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
