The Tewksbury Country Club hosted one of sports most prestigious accolades on Saturday: The Stanley Cup.

From 10 a.m to 1 p.m., fans were able to have their pictures taken with the Cup for a $10 donation to benefit fallen soldiers. Many arrived several hours early to beat the crowds.

Though about 1500 people were expected, the venue had received more than 1,000 fans by 11:30 a.m. and another 1,000 to 1,500 were still waiting in line.
