The action apparently did not completely stop after law enforcement arrested a shooting suspect, holed up at the Motel 6 Sunday night, Sept. 2.

Around 7:30 p.m., Andover State Police reported that a driver said he had been sideswiped on I-93 by an extended blue van driven by a law enforcement officer. According to the driver that was struck, the other driver got out of his vehicle and told him he was going to send him a ticket.

According to the report, Deputy Chief John Voto spoke with a representative from SWAT, who was able to identify the officer involved. According to the repot, SWAT will be taking care of the incident.

Domestic disturbance leads to drug arrest (Sept. 1)

On Saturday, around 10:25 p.m., a man called police to report that his wife had just assaulted him and that she had fled on foot. Officers responded to the scene and quickly located the suspect. Julie A. Trovato, 32, 255 Maple St., Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, as well as three counts of possession of a Class B substance.

Additional Arrests:

Samuel MacLeod, 26, 72 Fifth St. #C, Lowell, was arrested on Sept. 2 and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.

Dominic Federico, 26, 17 Brattle St., #1, Arlington, was arrested on Sept. 1 on a warrant.

Alexander M. Sousa, 23, 222 Charles St., Cambridge, was arrested on Sept. 1 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, lights violation and inspection sticker violation.

Additional Incidents:

On Monday, Sept. 3, around 4:15 p.m., a Berkeley Street called police and reported that someone had called her home and threatened to kill her husband. She was able to identify the caller. Officers issued a 209A (restraining order) to the caller.

On Monday, Sept. 3, around 12:30 p.m., a couple walked into Tewksbury Police Headquarters and reported a laptop had been stolen at a Cardigan Road address. A report was filed.
