Jason, as a conservative, I had to hold my nose and vote for him during the last governor's race. I thought he was very petty throughout that campaign and carried himself poorly. It was obvious when the voters spoke to give Patrick another term.

While the majortiy may have spoken, it is not always the case that they are right. The majority have been known to elect the likes of Barney Frank and John Tierney. People chose to vote for people for a variety of reasons, not all good and I certainly do not have to immediately decide that they are right, they are just the majority.
I may be in the minority, but you will never convince me that EW is anything but a fraud and a toady. She is in over her head and it will soon be obvious.

Perhaps we can convince Bill Weld to come back. Bill is a relatively centrist conservative. He does not let party politics get in the way of making decisions.

Weld can't run because of the residency requirement. He's a MA resident again as of 1/1/13, but to run for governor your primary residence has to be MA for 7 years prior to taking office.

First question I would ask of any candidate is "What's their position on Gun Control". If anybody has less than a D rating of is receiving campain funds from the NRA, IMO they should not be elected. Another random shooting yesterday @ two school busses in MA. We need better gun control and punishments in MA. Not a politition looking to clime the political ladder. Our own X Senator Brown was the largest recipient of campain funds from the NRA. See who you are voting for before you vote.
