Tewksbury High JV Cheerleading Squad Captures MVC Title
Team earns league championship in first-ever season.
(The following information was provided by TMHS Cheerleading Coach Kim Doherty.)
The brand new won 1st place at MVC League competition on Nov. 6 at Andover High School. This is the team's first appearance at a league competition.
Due to low tryout turnout, TMHS JV Cheer team only has nine girls on the squad, but this didn't hold them back from defeating the 18-girls-strong Central Catholic JV team for the coveted 1st place prize. What a way to kick off a JV program.

The JV Cheerleaders are: Courtney Donovan (Captain), Jenn Maddelini, Emily Wolotschaj, Corinne Doyle, Megan Johnston, Abbie Villalpando, Colleen Kelly, Nicole Beatrice, and Sam Anderson. They are coached by Alyssa and Christina Godfroy.
Just a quick note to let you know that TMHS Varsity Cheerleading team won 2nd place at MVC League competition which earned them a spot at the Regional Competition which will be held this Sunday, November 13th at 1:00pm at Woburn High School. I will let you know how we do.
