Tewksbury Memorial High School seniors Shelby Tomic and Katie Mulno were honored last week by the Tewksbury Rotary Club as winners of the Hats Off Awards.
The presentations took place at the Rotary Club's Hats Off Luncheon at the Tewksbury Country Club.
Hat's Off is a joint initiative of the Tewksbury Rotary Club and Tewksbury Memorial High School. The Award recognizes those students who have distinguished themselves academically, have contributed to the co-curricular program at the High School and have been actively involved in the community.
Mulno, the daughter of Lic and Patty Mulno has been the recipient of numerous Renaissance gold card and silver cards; has maintained honor roll every term throughout high school years; and was acknowledged on the Principal’s List.
She has also:
- Member of the Drama Club
- Member of the Glee Club
- Member of Starshine Productions
- Played the piano for ten years
Mulno will be attending UMass Lowell in the fall, majoring in Liberal Arts with concentrations in the Theatre and Music.
Tomic, the daughter of Dan and Andrea MacDonald, is a:
- Member of SAAD
- Member of Yearbook Committee
- Member of the Volleyball Team
- Member of the Club Volleyball Team - PUMAS
She also serves as a volunteer at Tewksbury Hospital Equestrian Farm and as a volunteer baby sitter. She has worked at Market Basket for the past four years.
Shelby possesses a passion for music. Plans on working hard through college to accomplish dreams.
