Tewksbury High Veterans Day Ceremony Set for Friday, Nov. 9

Ceremony to take place in the school gymnasium.

 

(Editor's Note: The following information was submitted by the administration of Tewksbury High.)

Tewksbury Memorial High School will be honoring our Veterans at our annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony

Local Veterans will be recognized as well as several of our faculty who have served our country.  There will be special musical tributes performed for our Veterans played by the Tewksbury Memorial High School Band under the direction of Mr. Andrew Walsh and patriotic songs sung by our TMHS Faculty Choir.

Several of our auditioning students were also chosen to sing solos at the ceremony.  Our own faculty member, Ms. Susan Barnett will be playing the bagpipes.  Students who were selected in our essay contest will be reading their essays at the ceremony.
