Hillary Peters of Dracut rode a segway for her first time at an event called Smithfest that took place at the Audio Werks parking lot. Audio Werks is located at 2111 Main Street in Tewksbury. Peters said her cousin Fred Smith who is either from Dracut, or Lowell started Smithfest. Camille Michaels from Tewksbury poses with Kelly Curley of Hopkinton, New Hampshire at the Giant Yard Sale that took place at the Senior Center at 175 Chandler Street on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. Michaels said, "This is my future daughter-in-law hopefully" when introducing who she was with. Coming to Tewksbury for the day to help out her "future mother-in-law" Curley said, "My boyfriend used to have a store, so we're trying to get rid of some of the items that we had at the retail store that he had closed." The store her boyfriend owned was called "Vintage Sparrow" and was in Henniker, New Hampshire.

Robert Hayes of Wilmington who is the Technical Services Librarian at the Tewksbury Library at 300 Chandler Street will be celebrating his fifth year at the library this Monday, Oct. 01, 2012. Congratulations, Robert. For more information about the library go to www.tewksburypl.org.

There will be a laser tag, and miniature golf coarse that will open up next to Audio Werks at 2111 Main Street, and across from the Knights of Columbus at 2068 Main Street in Tewksbury in the near future. This venue will be called “MVP Merrimack Valley Pavilion Laser Tag & Mini Golf.” There will also be pizza along with a sundae bar at this coarse.
