Tewksbury Offering Rabies Clinic This Weekend

Protect your dogs and cats.

A rabies inoculation clinic for dogs and cats has been scheduled for SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2013  from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at the DPW Garage, 999 Whipple Road.

Moon S. Kim, DVM, will be the attending veterinarian.  Please bring your previously issued Rabies Certificate to verify the rabies vaccination expiration date which will determine whether the animal will receive a 1 year or 3 year vaccination series. Dogs must be at least six (6) months of age.  All dogs must be on a leash.  Cats must be in a cage or box, or hand held and restrained by the owner.  The fee is $15.00 per dog or cat.  The fee for a microchip is $30. 

For the dog owners convenience,  Town Clerk staff, will be there to issue the year 2013 annual dog license.  If the rabies clinic has to be cancelled, due to inclement weather, the cancellation notice will be publicized on local cable TV Channel 10 and the town website www.tewksbury.info
