Tewksbury Police Crack Another B&E

Local man arresed in connection with Foster Road burglary.

Tewskbury Police believe they have arrested the man responsible for a burglary on Foster Road last week.

Earlier this week, officers arrested Luke Caraccio, 26, of 12 Kevin St., Tewksbury, for receiving stolen property over $250. Items recovered (jewelry and electronics) from his residence at 12 Kevin St. were identified as having been stolen during a house break that occurred on June 24 at 201 Foster Road, Tewksbury.

According to Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, Caraccio is the prime suspect in that burglary. Breaking and entering charges are on hold, pending the analysis of evidence submitted to the State Police Crime Lab.

As always, the Tewksbury Police Department urges citizens who suspect criminal activity to call the Dispatch Center at 978-851-7373.  If residents wish to remain anonymous they can call the Tip Line at 978-851-0175 or send an email to tewks_detectives@tewksbury-ma.gov

Why dont someome write the right story. The tewksbury police arent the ones to catch this person without our help. We will never help the police again. (THE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE SAID)

So now you'll just watch a neighbor's house being broken into and not call the police? Although given your grammar skills and lack of punctuation I'm guessing your about 8...so maybe we don't need to worry. Get off the computer and go play in the yard it's sunny out.

I wish this town had a boys & girls club like in Billerica. The recreation center just doesn't cut it.

I helped the police get this bad guy and in result of it they lied to me and my family suffered from it. I dont have a problem helping the police if they tell the truth and in the case they didnt. i just want the truth to be told.

Janice, care to say a little more about how things really happened in your view? A thought: Maybe by leaving you out of the story, the TPD may have been protecting you from retailiation, or the like? Would it have something to do with the fact that you may be under age? I'm wondering how it is that the TPD "lied" to you and your parents, and exactly what "suffering" resulted.

I hope you've changed your mind about not assisting the TPD in future situations. To not assist--when possible--would be hurting yourself and others. Not every good deed needs public acknowledgement. Just doing the "right" thing and moving on w/your day should be a way of life. In this case, if you did do something that aided in the capture of criminals, good for you. Remember to consider your own safety in the future.

Ya I do feel for janice she was only trying to help and keep her family safe and in the end they got involved with her family when the incident had nothing to do with her or her family. They keep to themselfs and are good people but by trying to help it created a whole nother problem and I believe that's what she was referring too
