Tewksbury Schedules Tax Classification Hearing For Dec. 18

Hearing required before the town can set its new tax rates.

 

The Board of Selectmen has scheduled a Tax Classification Public Hearing for Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

The hearing a requirement before the town can set its new property tax rates.

The hearing is open to the public and residents will have the chance to speak on the residential and commerical property tax rates.

No new taxes, please! Senior citizens are already stressed with the upswing in all prices and taxes in general. We can't be squeezed anymore. Thank you!

What?? The 20% increase last year wasn't enough?! And what have we got to show for it? Crappy roads that damage your car. I'm house hunting and would love to stay in Tewksbury, but the taxes are killing me and pricing me out of town.
