First two suspects had been arrested over the weekend.

Call it a clean sweep.

On Tuesday, March 19, Tewksbury Police tracked down and arrested a third suspect in connection with a house break on Van Buren Road last week.

Michael Codner, 26, of 34 Cinnamon Circle, Tewksbury was arrested on Rt. 28 in Lawrence.  He was charged with breaking and entering, larceny over $250, and conspiracy. In addition, Codner had an outstanding warrant out of Lawrence District Court for driving with a suspended license and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

On Saturday, March 16, police had arrested Ryan Codner, of 34 Cinnamon Circle and Kayla Freda of Stoneham in connection with the Van Buren Road burglary. At the time, Tewksbury Police requested the public's help in locating Michael Codner.

Ryan Codner and Freda were arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court. Michael Codner is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.

Unfortunately, Sam, you are correct! This is becoming a sad situation. Burglary is becoming a revolving door when in comes to being arrested. Steal, court, and out on probation.

LOOK WHO IT IS !!! the same clown who was saying "it wasnt me this time"... these degenerates NEED a good 5-9 yrs. in state prison followed by 15 yrs. of drug testing. when i was a kid if the cops got to know you were trouble they would "tune you up"a bit on the ride in.. these skanks are begging for a tune up. how frustrating it is to know these scumbags are the cause of so much grief in town, and they're still not in prison...insanity .... great work T.P.D., must be frustrating as hell for you guys too, cuz its sure is to me ...

tbone - I agree with you 100%. An ole school "tune-up" will work wonders on the Codner lads. I really hope these dudes catch some extensive time in the state system. They will make pretty "shower buddies" for the real hard timers. Lather up boys!!

From today's Lowell Sun:

LOWELL -- The last of three suspects accused of breaking into a Tewksbury home last week was released without bail at his arraignment Wednesday in Lowell District Court.

Michael Codner, 26, of 34 Cinnamon Circle, Tewksbury, pleaded not guilty to charges of breaking and entering, larceny over $250 and conspiracy in connection with the break-in of a home on Van Buren Road in Tewksbury on Saturday.

Codner was released on personal recognizance with the condition that he stay away from the home on Van Buren Road. He was also ordered to appear in Lawrence District Court on a warrant for operating after suspension and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. His next court date is May 17 for a pretrial conference.

Also arrested in connection with the Tewksbury incident were Ryan Codner, 21, of 34 Cinnamon Circle, Tewksbury and Kayla Freda, 18, of Stoneham.

Lowell District Court catch and release program. Now Michael you promise to stay away from victims now and be a good boy.

What a joke.

how frustrating ... the judges keep giving them small [or no!] bails ... that right there is one reason these clowns are still robbing everyone !!! nice job judge, your lack of action endangers everyone in the state .... jackass..

Well, I'm sure the many victims of the Codner boys will sleep soundly tonight, especially on Van Buren Rd, knowing these fine young lads are wandering the streets yet again.

I'm curious as to the thought process of the Judge... " Hmm, I guess numerous arrests, getting picked up on warrants, and having his face plastered all over the Patch are not discouraging enough for Mr. Codner. I guess it's time I got tough with him, and let him go without bail, and order him to stay away from one of his victims! THAT will teach him!"

How is ordering someone to stay away from a victims home after burglarizing it going to make a difference to Mr. Codner? He didn't care about the law, the consequences, or the trauma caused to the victims BEFORE the burglary, what makes Judge Sissypants think Mr. Codner is going to care about any orders the Judge gives him now? I can only assume that Mr. Codner has been reprimanded many times before when standing in front of a Judge, and we can all see how effective that tactic has been to keep him from re-offending!
