Tsongas To Introduce Tierney To Tewksbury Voters
Tewksbury's present congresswoman and possibly future congressman will be doing a walking tour of the Emily Road neighborhood on Sunday.
Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (D-5th District) has represented Tewksbury for the past several years. On Sunday, she plans to introduce Tewksbury voters to the man she hopes will be representing them, starting in January.
Presently, Tewksbury is in Tsongas' 5th Congressional District. However, thanks to the most recent Oct 13 2012 6 a.m., Tewksbury will become part of the 6th Congressional District stating in January 2013. That district is presently represented by Congressman John Tierney (D-6th District).
On Sunday, Tsongas and Tierney will launch a door-to-door canvass in Tewksbury, starting at 1 p.m. on Emily Road.
Volunteers will join Tierney and Tsongas knocking on doors and "talking with voters about the issues that matter most to middle-class families."
Tierney is locked in a tight race in the 6th District with Richard Tisei. Tisei will be in Tewksbury for a Town Hall style gathering.

No introduction needed John....I bet most voters know who you are. When you and Niki are done bluffing on Emily Rd, stop by for our weekly poker game.

I fish out of Newburyport and always wished I could vote against Tierney, now I get the chance. If you believe he didn't know anything about his wife's family and her involvement in their criminal enterprise you really have your head in the sand!

As an Emily Rd resident I will be hanging out my sign that says "Candidates that condone an illegal gambling operation need not stop here".

Unfortunately, all I have seen on the Tisei commercials is slamming Tierney. How about telling us what your policies are?

Unfortunately, alot of voters rely on 30 second TV ads to make their decision at the polls. Unfortunately, alot of voters are to lazy to do some research on each candidate.

He was just up at the Elks club on South Street for over an hour discussing all of the issues with anyone that wanted to attend. I was very impressed with him. Thanks for spending time with us and talking about what is important to the families of South Tewksbury.

She won't do that because she actually lives in Charlestown.
