Vandalism at Shell/Dunkin' Donuts Leads to Search

Ten Days after Christmas, decorations stolen off lawn.

On Sunday, just after 5 a.m., Tewksbury Police officers responded to the Shell Station/Dunkin' Donuts at 1220 Main St. for a report of malicious destruction of property.

Officers found that the front window of the store had been smashed in. It was unclear at first glance if this was a case of vandalism or a burglary and detectives were called to the scene and a K-9 unit was requested. In addition, the Tewksbury Hospital police was asked to check their grounds.

There was a vehicle stopped as part of the investigation but it was determined it had nothing to do with the incident.

The request for a K-9 unit was ultimately cancelled and a report on the incident was filed.

They decided to have the reception where?

On Sunday, just after midnight, officers were called to the Wendy's restaurant on Andover Street for a report of two male parties fighting. However, when the officers responded, they found that it was not two men fighting. Rather, it was a man and his sister arguing after a wedding.

Grinches are still in season

On Monday, police received a call from CEF Trucking on Old Boston Road. The female caller reported that two of her Christmas decorations had been stolen from her lawn. A report was filed.
