VIDEO: Board of Selectmen Honors Retiring Sen. Susan Tucker
State Senator praised for her years of service to Tewksbury.
State Sen. Susan Tucker, in one of her final public appearances before leaving office, was invited to appear at the Dec. 21 meeting of the Board of Selectmen at Town Hall.
She was honored with a gift an a plaque for her years of service in the Legislature. Chairman Todd Johnson noted Tucker's dedication and hard work for issues that had a particular impact on Tewksbury.
Tucker thanked the board and expressed her appreciation for the support she has received through the years from Tewksbury officials.
Tucker is retiring from the Senate. She will be replaced by state REp. Barry Finegold.

Hi Bill,
I don't live in Tewksbury, but I work in town. I'd be interested in watching the BOS meetings. Could the Patch record them or work something out with the Tewksbury's local access TV channel and post them on the Patch's website. Just an idea! Not sure if it's even possible...

We can look into that. I'm not sure how the technology would work, if it was possible either .... I will ask. In the meantime, we will have a second article on the selectmen's meeting with additional video on Friday.
