I was not surprised that it went out, the two times we tried it, the food was only mediocre and if you read the reviews on yelp, you'll get an idea of what happened the last time we ate there (shortly before they closed).

Sad...I thought the food was pretty good but the service was poor.

Poor execution of food, service was really bad and the entertainment annoying. It didn't surprise us at all they closed. It was the kind of place that needed the Kitchen Nightmares show to go.

I agree that the food wasn't good at all. As to what should go there, good spot for a 5 Guys!!!

Wow, I had quite the opposite experience every time we went there. We liked the food (great chicken marsala), good service and always very accommodating. Early bird specials that couldn't be beat and if you signed up you'd get a free entree during your birthday month. Never went when they had the music but they discontinued that at the request of customers. Pleasant atmosphere....we miss it. As to a replacement, there's not a great deal of parking there so I don't think something with a large volume of traffic would work.

An "Orange Leaf'! Has anyone been to one yet? There's one in No Andover center-great frozen yogurt concept! Wish I had the money to buy one-they're a franchise...

This place being empty should stay that way. It can be a monmument to what happens for Bad service and bad food. Skewers and a few others should take notice of this monument.

Yes! A yogurt shop like Orange Leaf would be excellent. Or a healthy alternative to all of the pizza, sub and fast food places - like "B.Good" in Burlington.

I think Orange Leaf is a good idea, too, but I'm not sure the parking situation over there can handle it. I drove my teen and a friend to Orange Leaf in Andover this past Friday night and it was absolute chaos over there. The line was literally out the door, there were cars EVERYWHERE, teenagers yelling and dashing across the street without looking (I literally saw a girl almost get hit by an Expedition)...it was just a mess.

Tewksbury absolutely needs more teen friendly venues, and I'd love to see an Orange Leaf (if only because I'm over driving all the way to Andover center lol), but crowd control and parking would have to be considered.

Liked the BO and was disappointed it closed. Not sure if their "Mediteranean" mention in their name wasn't a deterent to some.

How about a Starbucks!

A Starbucks would be great here. The unit is the right size and it's a great location. Plus, it's a good alternative to Dunkin Donuts.

The problem with that area is parking. There is very limited parking there. Any business, no matter how good they are won't do well without parking. I personally liked the Black Olive. I was disappointed when it closed. But, it was always empty. Great place for an insurance company.

I think a really great Italian restaurant would do well. One that actually makes real chicken parmigiana and homemade meatballs. Not from a can. We are always looking for a new spot to open with a great bar, great wine list and martini's, great food that's not too expensive and friendly staff who actually remember you. Going to the North End is just to far but we can't find what they offer anywhere near Tewksbury

I would like to see a Starbucks or Subway. Nothing seems to make it in that spot.

It's going to be an Italian restaurant again, they are remodeling rite now .
